12 healthcare cos. on the rise: LinkedIn

LinkedIn released its annual list of the top 50 US startups, including a number of healthcare firms. The ranking was based on parameters like employee growth, jobseeker interest, and talent attraction. Eligible firms had to be US-based, privately held, fully independent, have at least 50 full-time employees, and less than five years old. LinkedIn excluded staffing and venture capital firms, consultancies, and government-owned entities.
